Veterinary Physiotherapy for dogs & horses

Contact me to tell me a little about your animal and what you'd like help with. We can discuss their needs and arrange an appointment if appropriate.

At your first appointment, I'll take the time to understand your animal's history, lifestyle and current needs. I'll assess their posture, movement, mobility and any areas of concern.

I'll also discuss your goals for their treatment and answer any questions you may have.

Treatment will depend on your animal and what they need on the day. This may include hands-on techniques such as massage, passive range of movement and stretching, alongside therapeutic exercises such as strengthening, balance and proprioception work.

I don't use a set treatment routine. Each session is adapted to the individual animal and how they respond.

After the assessment and treatment, I'll explain my findings and discuss the next steps with you.

Where appropriate, I'll provide exercises and advice for you to carry out at home to help support your animal between appointments.

Your animal's progress will be monitored throughout their rehabilitation and treatment will be adapted as needed. Reports of how your animal is progressing will be sent to your veterinary practice.

I'll keep you involved throughout the process and make sure you understand what we're working towards and how you can help at home.
